Anywhere Outpost began in January 2017 when our founder, Therese Cresalia, found herself unsettled at her UX Design tech job in downtown San Francisco. She felt the need to get outside and guessed assume everyone else in downtown San Francisco felt similar. As musing this predicament over, she finally came up with the idea of a glamping business that sets up where ever needed and she jumped on it. Combining a background in design as well as modeling and competitive soccer and seven generations of family tribal knowledge in California Therese was off and running.
AO started in Therese’s home town in Marin County, CA with just 15 bedroom tents but grew rapidly year over year through consistent effort and proven success in both the design and execution of the camp builds. By 2022, AO boasts an inventory of over 100 Bedroom tents, lounges, furniture and all the necessary hospitality services required of a functioning off grid hotel that sets up anywhere flat space provides.
AO moved to Humboldt County in 2020 during the dark days of the pandemic and we love our new home in Redway, CA! Come for a visit and experience the majestic redwood groves we get to call home.
